You don't need any special preparation for massage. Before a massage therapy session starts, your massage therapist should ask you about any symptoms, your medical history and what you're hoping to get out of massage. Your massage therapist should explain the kind of massage and techniques he or she will use. Your massage therapist may play music during your massage or talk to you, but you can tell him or her if you prefer quiet.
Foot reflexology is “pressure therapy” and involves applying focused pressure to certain known reflex points located in the foot to cure or prevent disease. Foot reflexology is based on the premise that our nerve zones or reflex points go from the bottom of our feet to the top of our head, encompassing all vital organs on the way. A trained reflexologist can put pressure on different meridiens or energy lines on the sole and side of the feet to determine the cause of illness.
Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage. Cupping therapy might be trendy now, but it’s not new. It dates back to ancient Egyptian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern cultures. One of the oldest medical textbooks in the world, the Ebers Papyrus, describes how the ancient Egyptians used cupping therapy in 1,550 B.C.
Gotta love this massage spa! Very clean, extremely quiet, unbelievably
relaxing, well lit, extraordinarily good service and remarkably professional
massage skills. The therapists have been doing full body massage and foot massage
for me for many many times now. They are absolutely amazing! I often so relaxed
after an hour of good body massage, and also feel so recharged for my feet after
a good foot massage. I can keep going on and on about about
how good I feel. Thus, I strongly recommend you to come visit
this massage spa!
Man Oh man I have to Say my experience with Happy Lucky Foot Spa was freaking amazing! The staff were funny very humble, skillful and caring. They knew exactly what I needed and how I needed it. I felt Speacial in their care! I'll definitely be there regularly.
A great massage therapist is hard to come by when your just walking in to places. However this one was right on time. Thank you
After having so much stress, I decided to treat myself to one of the best massage studios in Fresh Meadow, Queens! They were very thoughtful and caring, with hands down (no pun intended) so much insight on the craft. One hour later, my entire body was rejuvenated. If you're in need of a life changing experience, run, and don't just walk to Happy Lucky Massage Spa. Making appointment with them before you go is a very good idea, because sometimes they might be busy. Actually, as I am writing this comment, I already have another appointment set. :)
This is probably one of my favourite massage spa around Fresh Meadow. They provide exetreme good services but with a very affordable price. Good location and it's very easy to reach in that area. I like driving around the town and there are many street parking meters right at the front of the nail salon and around the corner there are many free street parkings too. That is what interested me to come and try in the first place. And the friendliness of their employees is what keeps returning for more services over the months. So hope they will keep up the good works. And i gladly recommend it to all of you out there on Google Map.
